Construction The handlebar achieves its market-leading strength-to-weight ratio thanks to efficient use of materials and computer-aided taper-wall profiling, which reduces weight while increasing strength, durability and flex properties Material The handlebar is made from an exclusive 7010 T6 aluminium that Renthal only offers for handlebars. This alloy has been specially developed to reduce vibrations through the structure. The handlebar has a shot-peened surface structure that increases the handlebar's lifespan and durability. Manufacturing The handlebars are manufactured exclusively in the Renthal Factory. The Fatbar undergoes a 17-step advanced manufacturing process in which the raw tubes come in and the finished handlebar comes out. Testing Every Renthal handlebar design undergoes a series of intensive tests to check strength, durability, material integrity, surface finish, impact resistance and dimensional accuracy. By working with high-calibre racing teams, we receive important feedback for the development of the ultimate handlebars.
